The CCRD has issued this Request for Quotation (RFQ) to solicit quotations from qualified proponents to construct a water distribution system on Denny Island, located east of Bella Bella. The water system will be operated by the Central Coast Regional District, in partnership with School District #49 who currently operates existing wells, pumps stations, and storage facilities, all of which are proposed to be incorporated into the water system.
The project works consist of 3km of 100 and 200mm Dia HDPE watermain and associated appurtenances, to be constructed primarily in existing MOTI road rights of way servicing approximately 50 parcels on Denny Island.
This solicitation replaces a previous solicitation that was issued in June of 2023.
